Montreal, QC @ MTELUS

Teenaged singer-songwriter Sabrina Sterling opened the night with heartfelt poise. Shy at first, she grew into her performance, showcasing impressive guitar skills and a voice that hinted at a bright future. The audience cheered her on, proving her bright future.

Everyone in the venue were transported to the 60’s, by the theatrical show put on by Jessie Murph and team. She delivered both emotional ballads like “Heroin” alongside high energy anthems “Touch Me Like a Gangster” and “Blue Strips” from her newest Sex Hysteria. During these songs, the venue floor seemed to tremble under the collective excitement among fans.

Jessie’s live band deserves its own praise: tight, versatile, and clearly in sync with her moods. The guitarist leaned into bluesy riffs during slower numbers, while the drummer brought trap-inspired hi-hats to the more genre-bending tracks.

Jessie Murph’s MTELUS show wasn’t just another tour date… it was a statement. She proved herself not only as a recording artist but as a live performer capable of steering a room’s emotions from heartbreak to euphoria in the span of a single set.
