PinkPantheress in Montreal

Montreal, QC @ L’Olympia

From the second she walked onstage, the crowd was completely locked in. Nobody was waiting around for the “big hit” because every song was the big hit. One minute the room was bouncing to “Illegal,” the next it was swaying through “Pain”. The transitions were fast, almost DJ-set paced, but that worked in her favor. PinkPantheress doesn’t perform like a traditional pop star — she performs like someone soundtracking your memories in real time.

What stood out most was how much she’s evolved live. Early criticism around her stage presence feels outdated now. The choreography was tighter, the visuals were playful without being overproduced, and her confidence carried the whole night. She still has that awkward-charming energy that makes her human, but now she actually commands the room too. It’s a difficult balance, and she finally seems comfortable in it. She’s genuinely ready for arena-level pop stardom.

Every lyric got screamed back at her, especially during “Boy’s a liar” where the venue basically turned into a giant karaoke session. There was this mix of club energy and emotional intimacy that’s hard to pull off in a packed venue. Even when the production leaned theatrical with flashing visuals, quick costume changes, heavy bass drops… the show still felt personal.

If there was one downside, it’s that the set flew by. PinkPantheress songs are famously short, and the concert moved at the same speed as her discography: fast, addictive, and over before you fully processed it. But honestly, that almost added to the experience. Her music has always thrived on replay value, and the show felt the same way… the second it ended, you wanted to start it over immediately.

It felt like the perfect city for her final North American show.
